The position of Outside Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the supply chain and logistics processes to ensure the efficient and timely outbound and inbound delivery of goods and materials. The role involves coordinating between internal departments, suppliers, manufacturers, transportation providers and customers to streamline transport operations and resolve any issues that may arise to enable DRC to meet our on?time delivery goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the scheduling and tracking of shipments from DRC to customers and from suppliers to DRC, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company policies and agreement terms, including domestic and international carriers. Coordinate with supplier logistics and DRC warehousing to ensure seamless receipt of product from domestic and overseas suppliers. Coordinate and communicate timely inter?site transfer of material within DRC and warehousing partners. Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs documentation, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Analyze logistics processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate shipments and address and resolve any issues related to shipping delays, damaged goods, or other logistical problems. Responsible for 3PL and carrier selection, performance evaluation, document custody and retention, and reporting of delivery KPIs/metrics (e.g., on?time delivery, percent of freight claims versus loads, dollar recovery from freight issues). Work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various departments and external partners.

Reliable transportation and ability to drive between DRCs five local manufacturing facilities (within 15 miles), if required.
Education, Training and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and an ERP system required. At least two+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management. Knowledge of shipping and transportation regulations, customs procedures, and inventory management practices. Physical Demands
Light physical demands; some reaching, standing, bending, and prolonged sitting. Ability to lift boxes and maneuver weight up to 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
