Job Description — Fire Chaser
Title:
Fire Chaser (Business Development Specialist - Fire Loss Division)

Business Development / Sales
Reports To:
Regional Mitigation Manager / VP of Operations
Summary The Fire Chaser is responsible for rapidly responding to active fire scenes to generate new business opportunities for H2O Away’s mitigation and restoration services. This role combines on-the-ground response with relationship building, empathy, and sales discipline.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor fire alerts and respond to active fire scenes in assigned territories.
Establish positive relationships with homeowners, fire departments, and adjusters.
Educate property owners on emergency services and secure signed work authorizations.
Log all activity and leads in CRM in real time.
Coordinate with estimators and project managers for rapid follow-up.
Represent H2O Away professionally and compliantly at all times.
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable working evenings/weekends and in high-stress environments.
Experience in sales, restoration, or emergency services preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Professional, empathetic demeanor.
Compensation
Commission-based (percentage of signed/sold fire losses).
Performance bonuses based on monthly conversion targets.

Signed authorizations
Conversion rate (%)
Monthly revenue from fire losses
