Description CT Technologist in Main CT Unit at Queen of the Valley Medical Center, CA. This position is Full time and will work 10-hour Variable Shifts.

Responsibilities Under the direction of a Radiologist or Physician designee, and Imaging Leadership, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level. Acts in compliance with Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards. Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis. Performs related clerical tasks and assumes responsibility for coordinating exams performed.

Qualifications

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.

California Radiologic Technologist upon hire.

National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.

National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.

National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography within 1 year of hire.

Experience in a related field as a CT tech or Imaging Tech.
