What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Lead a team of globally distributed System and Kernel developers focused on the macOS operating system
Drive design decisions for improving agent architecture and addressing proactive improvements
Respond to field events, driving root cause analysis and implementing necessary patches
Collaborate closely with Support, Sales, and Quality Assurance to ensure timely resolution of emerging issues
Research and identify new issues to enhance product offerings and customer satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
4+ years of experience in software engineering management
6+ years of prior experience in systems and kernel development
Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals
Proven track record of successfully delivering core customer‑facing features
Good communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience in macOS development in user/kernel space
Familiarity with high‑performance systems and large‑scale event processing systems
Knowledge of Objective‑C and Swift programming languages
Experience managing customer escalations or highly coordinated efforts for service restoration
