Rocky Mountain Hydrostatics, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE-traded company (NYSE:HEI) is seeking a Director of Commercial Business Development. The Director of Commercial Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new commercial business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategies to expand the company's commercial market presence.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic commercial business plan
Target and engage with key industries that use hydraulics to support their needs and ensure a steady pipeline of work
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients to present the company's repair services and capabilities
Implement strategies, policies, practices, and programs that leverage the corporation's skills, capabilities, and experience for commercial customers in support of business
Prepare detailed quotes, sales contracts and proposals for hydraulic repair projects
Negotiate and close service and repair contracts that align with the company's profitability goals
Conduct business and technical briefings for senior and top management for external representatives
Operate motor vehicle to travel to customer locations and conduct sales
Other duties as assigned
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
10 Years of Experience in Sales or Business Development
Preferably within the Hydraulic, Fluid Power or Industrial Equipment Industries
Specialized Knowledge/Abilities
Strong technical understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and repair processes
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Proficiency with CRM Software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively
Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned sales territory
