Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all second‑shift printing and sheeting operations, ensuring smooth workflow and consistent production output.
Monitor pressroom performance, addressing issues proactively to reduce downtime and maintain quality targets.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and shorten setup times.
Coordinate job scheduling, oversee production quality, and ensure waste‑control goals are met.
Manage inventory of pressroom materials and supplies.
Collaborate with customers during press approvals and support press crews with technical challenges.
Report equipment issues and work closely with maintenance to resolve problems promptly.
Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, and company safety policies.
Assist with staffing decisions including training, scheduling, performance management, and hiring.
Partner with the Graphics Department to maintain G7 color standards.
Oversee Sheeting Department operations, ensuring alignment with production goals.
Qualifications
3‑5 years of experience operating or supervising KBA or Heidelberg presses, preferably 7‑color large format.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or printing environment.
Working knowledge of color measurement tools (spectrophotometry) strongly preferred.
Experience with FSSC 22000 and ISO 9001 standards.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Must be able to work 2nd shift.
