The Alexa organization is seeking a highly organized, proactive and driven Executive Assistant to support Directors in Sunnyvale, California.
The Executive Assistant (EA) will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives across the company. The EA will manage multiple complex calendars, plan and organize events of all sizes, coordinate domestic and international travel, build a positive team environment, and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.
The EA must be creative, organized, detail-oriented, exercise good judgment, and have strong written, verbal and administrative skills. They will work in a dynamic, complex environment, balance multiple priorities, work independently on projects from conception to completion, and handle a wide variety of tasks with discretion.
The EA must demonstrate a strong bias for action by handling administrative matters expeditiously, proactively and professionally to ensure successful completion of assigned projects and tasks.
Key Job Responsibilities
Manage an active and fluid calendar; schedule, coordinate and plan internal meetings, agendas and appointments with meticulous attention to detail.
Plan detailed domestic and international travel.
Manage expense report coordination and submission.
Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all‑hands meetings, off‑sites, team social events).
Serve as the “gatekeeper” to the executive office, screening and prioritizing appointments/meeting requests while providing polite and professional service.
Communicate on behalf of the senior executive directly with the leadership team and other stakeholders across the organization.
Help develop and maintain new organizational mechanisms.
Train other administrative staff on company policies and best practices.
A Day in the Life This role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests.
High integrity and discretion are essential when handling confidential information and interacting with senior leaders and engineers. A good sense of humor and professionalism are also valued.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of executive assistant experience.
Experience with executive level calendar management.
Experience with domestic or international travel coordination.
Experience handling administrative details independently, exercising good judgment to keep team members informed.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of executive assistant experience.
Experience working with large global teams.
Experience leading process improvements.
Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑tech company.
Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency.
Experience with workspace planning/management.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800 per year in our lowest geographic market to $142,800 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
