Description Interested in contributing to the next generation of Alexa? The Alexa organization is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and driven Executive Assistant II to support Directors in Seattle, Washington.

Key job responsibilities The Executive Assistant (EA) will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in working with senior executives across the company. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes including building powerpoint presentations and other assets, coordinating domestic and international travel, and being a critical steward of the culture in the organization. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.

The EA must be creative, organized, detail-oriented, exercise good judgment, have strong written, verbal and administrative skills. The EA must be able to work in a dynamic, complex work environment and balance multiple priorities. They will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of tasks, assignments and confidential matters with discretion. The EA must demonstrate a strong bias for action by handling administrative matters expeditiously, proactively and professionally to ensure successful completion of assigned projects and tasks.

A day in the life This role requires you to Think Big while maintaining attention to detail, meeting tight deadlines, and juggling multiple critical requests as you collaborate across D&S and other Amazon senior executive offices. You will need to:

Exercise good judgment in handling confidential information

Demonstrate Frugality while delivering maximum impact

Show Bias for Action in time-sensitive situations

Simplify complex processes while maintaining quality

Work backwards from customer needs to create solutions

Prepare agenda for All Town Meetings and build the powerpoint decks

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of senior level leadership support experience

High school or equivalent diploma

Experience prioritizing and delivering projects on time in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading process improvements

Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
