Confidential – Maintenance Manager A leading global organization is seeking an experienced

Maintenance Manager

to provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for a major manufacturing facility located in the

Southwest region

of the United States. This role is responsible for driving excellence in maintenance operations, equipment reliability, and asset performance across a 24/7 production environment.

The

Maintenance Manager

will lead all maintenance functions, including work management processes, equipment installations and upgrades, preventive and predictive programs, and reliability-centered improvement initiatives. Occasional alternate shift coverage may be required to support operational needs and ensure continuity.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with strong technical expertise, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing maintenance team during a period of modernization and operational transformation.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute maintenance strategies aligned with corporate standards and long-term operational goals.

Oversee facility management and engineering support, including system design, reliability programs, configuration management, and capital project implementation.

Lead daily maintenance operations, ensuring consistent execution of LOTO, equipment troubleshooting, planning & scheduling, and work control processes.

Identify improvement opportunities and implement cost-effective, reliability-focused solutions.

Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment documentation to support troubleshooting and project planning.

Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to improve equipment performance and plant reliability.

Maintain strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Provide strong leadership to supervisors, technicians, and skilled trades in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentorship, training, and performance management.

Deliver technical and safety-related presentations to diverse teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

8–10 years of progressive maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy production environments.

Proven success leading maintenance teams and managing complex mechanical and electrical systems.

Experience interpreting technical documentation and overseeing structured maintenance programs.

Demonstrated ability to lead through change in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Must follow all corporate and site-specific safety procedures.
