We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead and manage multi-million-dollar ERP implementation projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, stakeholder management, and risk mitigation, with hands-on experience using MS Project and other project management tools.
This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the execution of SAP/ERP projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Utilize MS Project and Project Online/Server for planning, tracking, and reporting.
Define project activities, responsibilities, milestones, and resource requirements.
Maintain stakeholder relationships and implement effective communication plans.
Monitor and report on project KPIs including schedule, cost, and quality metrics.
Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
Oversee vendor relationships, including SOWs and contract deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including offshore and offsite resources.
Manage up to three concurrent projects with budgets ranging from $500K to $5M.
Ensure alignment with organizational processes, methodologies, and governance models.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience managing SAP/ERP implementation projects. Proven experience managing project budgets between $500K and $5M. Proficiency in MS Project and strong experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Project Online/Server or similar PPM tools. Strong stakeholder management and communication planning skills. Demonstrated experience in risk and issue management. Experience managing distributed teams across multiple locations. Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification. Experience with cross-team/project coordination and mentoring junior PMs. Familiarity with the PMI Talent Triangle: Technical Project Management, Leadership, and Strategic Business Management. Ability to understand technical aspects of SAP solutions at a high level.
