Base pay range $140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr
A mission‑driven U.S. manufacturer scaling low‑carbon building materials through a multi‑plant rollout. The team blends proven industrial operations with modern automation and data to deliver lower‑cost, lower‑carbon products at scale.
You’ll be the GM’s right hand, owning day‑to‑day plant execution and end‑to‑end logistics. From inbound materials through on‑time customer delivery, you’ll drive throughput, reliability, and safety while building a strong, performance‑driven culture.
What You’ll Do
Run daily operations across production, maintenance, safety, and workforce planning
Translate demand into executable schedules; track and improve KPIs (throughput, uptime, OEE, yield, cost)
Own logistics and inventory: inbound raw materials, stock accuracy, carrier/3PL management, and outbound deliveries
Optimize material flow, freight, and service levels while reducing total landed cost
Champion safety; ensure OSHA/DOT/environmental compliance; lead audits and incident reviews
Develop and mentor plant and logistics teams; model hands‑on leadership
Serve as acting GM when needed; partner on continuous improvement and expansion plans
Qualifications
7+ years in plant operations, supply chain, or logistics within heavy industrial or building‑materials manufacturing
Track record improving OEE, reducing downtime, and hitting service/cost targets
Strong vendor/carrier/3PL management and production scheduling experience
Fluent with manufacturing KPIs, inventory control, and basic financial drivers
Working knowledge of OSHA/DOT/environmental regs
Pragmatic, boots‑on‑the‑floor leader with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
