SAP - Supply Chain Sales Lead - Senior Manager - Consulting - Location OPEN Join EY as a senior manager in our Technology practice, responsible for providing SAP consulting services focused on Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch and SuccessFactors.

Location: Anywhere in Country

Overview At EY, we help clients improve their operations through SAP technology. In this role, you will influence clients on strategy to execution, work across multiple business lines, and drive high‑performing engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis.

Oversee program/project management and ensure engagement economics are met.

Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.

Lead large-scale sales pursuits across Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology or Industrial Products sectors.

Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing client needs.

Collaborate with team members across EY practices to effectively serve clients.

Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients across various sectors, including CXO level engagement.

Develop market insights by aligning client contexts with SAP solutions, roadmap and strategies.

Create a robust pipeline by collaborating closely with sector alliance leads and SAP solution capabilities for prioritized sectors.

Utilize an integrated sales framework to drive large‑scale SAP pursuits and incorporate innovative solutions.

Effectively lead and motivate diverse sales pursuit teams, providing constructive feedback and coaching.

Lead large‑scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Demonstrate in‑depth SAP solution capabilities and strong business acumen.

Stay informed about current business and industry trends relevant to clients and assimilate new knowledge.

Consistently deliver high‑quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping key stakeholders informed.

Strong technical skills in functional application design and technology business requirements definition.

Proven ability to analyze and map technology cost‑benefit scenarios.

Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred.

At least 15 years of related work experience.

At least 10 years of experience driving large SAP Sales initiatives for clients in Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology or Industrial Products.

A proven ability to build and develop SAP market presence and pipeline by aligning client needs with SAP solutions, roadmaps and strategies.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain management programs.

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.

Demonstrated experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project‑based team members.

Knowledge of best practices in SAP Supply Chain, along with benchmarking and advisory experience related to manufacturing‑specific technology functions.

Proficiency in researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.

A flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40‑60%.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in the consulting industry.

Experience leading primary sales initiatives for SAP Supply Chain and other SAP solutions.

Proven track record as a workstream or team lead for Supply Chain projects utilizing SAP.

Experience with at least three full‑life‑cycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA), specifically within SAP Supply Chain modules (Production Planning, Materials Management, Logistics Execution).

Experience integrating SAP with IBP, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and SAP Quality Management (QM).

Knowledge of manufacturing operations, particularly in complex industrial equipment or assembly line environments.

Understanding of product lifecycle management, including Engineering Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOMs).

Experience with both Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order business models.

What We Offer You

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $171,600 to $392,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $205,900 to $445,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

Join us in our team‑led and leader‑enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client‑serving roles to work together in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
