About the Opportunity Our client, a leader in Cloud and AI Infrastructure, is looking for a skilled
Integrations Engineer
to join their team for a 3-6 month duration engagement. This project involves the design, development, and maintenance of robust Workday integrations with over 30 internal and external systems, including NetSuite and Workiva, with a focus on specialized expertise in Workato, Workday, and Greenhouse. This is a high-impact role that requires a self‑motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:
Design, develop, and implement complex inbound and outbound Workday integrations, leveraging Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and external middleware like Workato.
Successfully integrate Workday with over 30 different systems, including critical platforms like NetSuite, Workiva, and Greenhouse.
Partner with functional leads (HR, Finance) to gather, analyze, and document complex integration requirements and functional specifications.
Develop and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans to ensure all integrations are functional, secure, and performant.
Provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and support for existing integrations, troubleshooting failures, and performing root‑cause analysis.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of hands‑on experience in Workday integration development and administration.
Deep expertise in Workday integration tools (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS) and integration technologies (XML, XSLT, Web Services (REST/SOAP)). This isn’t a learning role—you need to be a subject‑matter expert.
A proven track record of building at least 50‑100 Workday integrations, with specialized expertise in integrating Workday with systems like NetSuite, Workiva, and Greenhouse using platforms like Workato.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills, with excellent written and verbal communication to explain technical concepts to senior leadership and non‑technical stakeholders.
