As part of our mission to develop and commercialize life changing therapeutics, Orphalan is building out our US Commercial team to support the growth and ongoing success of Cuvrior®. Orphalan is seeking a strategic marketing professional who can support US marketing initiatives and key promotional activities (HCP and Patient) which will include both personal and non-personal promotional tactics.
The
Sr. Brand Manager
will participate as a key member of the US commercial team and support the development and execution with a clear, concise, and actionable strategic/tactical plan to optimize the commercial success of Cuvrior®. This person will be responsible for closely collaborating with multiple cross functional groups. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing, this is a highly visible role with an ability to make significant impact on the growth of the organization.
Core Marketing Activities:
Development and execution of HCP/Patient related promotional materials/resources
Development and execution of all congress and association related activity and materials (HCP/Patient)
Planning and execution of speaker bureau and educational programming (HCP)
Development and execution of Ambassador programming content (Patient)
Manage and execute unbranded/disease education tactics (HCP/Patient)
Content development and execution for non-personal media strategy (HCP/Patient)
Collaborate and manage relationships with several association partnerships (WDA, ALF, Global Liver Institute) etc)
Strong analytical skills with ability to monitor key marketing and sales metrics to proactively identify trends, gaps and opportunities supporting the enhancement of commercial effectiveness organization wide
Closely collaborate with the Key Account Manager Field Team and leadership, Market Access, Patient Services and Medical Affairs to analyze market dynamics and propose new strategies and tactical programs
Contributes to the development and execution of the annual brand strategy and tactical plan through a detailed understanding of both the customer and market
Work closely with the Sr. Director, Marketing in the day-to-day management of agency partners and vendors, execution of congress strategy/planning, sales training initiatives and POA meetings
Manage internal processes including medical/legal review of promotional materials, compliance, contract approval process, marketing operating budget review, etc.
Education and Experience
BA/BS degree in a relevant area; advanced degree is a plus
5-7+ years’ experience in pharma/biotech with at least 4 years’ experience in marketing (brand management)
Highly preferred –Gastroenterology/Liver, Rare disease market and Specialty Pharmacy knowledge
Proven track record of developing and executing successful HCP and Patient marketing strategies (both personal and non-personal)
Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects/deliverables concurrently
Strong agency management background
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment without specified direction
Knowledge of the Legal and Regulatory landscape of pharmaceutical marketing including in-depth knowledge of the Medical/Legal/Regulatory Review process
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Must be team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
Solid knowledge of Sales Force tools (i.e. – Veeva CRM)
Ability to travel as necessary (POA meetings, Congress meetings, Commercial leadership meetings)
This role can be remote. Travel into Boston and the Central NJ area for live meetings when necessary.
