Vernovis is an Inc. 5000 IT Staffing and Consulting firm, serving partners in the Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio areas. We help companies complete critical business initiatives and bring in talent within IT and Finance, and also offer expertise in the Cybersecurity space.

How we do it: We use a resource‑based solutions model to deliver Subject Matter Experts who fill capacity and knowledge gaps and complete critical projects on time. This model works because our consultants have sat in our clients’ seats and understand the unique and pressing challenges they face.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Prospect and network with companies, from Manager to C‑level individuals

Maintain/Build a list of client accounts through a direct sales effort

Conduct in‑person meetings with clients and prospective clients on client site

Attend networking events and other corporate initiatives so you become a known member in the Accounting and Finance or Technology community

Collaborate with the team and client companies to identify the best solution for the project initiative

Increase market share by proactively pursuing and closing new business

Here’s what you’ll have:

2+ years of sales experience in the professional services industry or related field

Solid consultative selling skills

“Hunter” mentality to develop new accounts and “Farmer” mentality for growing existing accounts

Strong relationship building abilities with excellent oral and written communication skills

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Compensation:

Uncapped, competitive, comprehensive compensation structure of base salary and commission with unlimited opportunity for growth and mobility
