Business Development Manager (Finance)
Peoplelink Group is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts in the DFW market. The role requires a proven "hunter" sales mentality, strong business development skills, and knowledge or experience in construction staffing.
Compensation & Schedule
$60k‑$75k base + commission
Monday‑Friday 8AM‑5PM, office with 60‑70% field time
How You'll Do It
Meet business leaders through social networking, cold calls, and leads to create opportunities for Peoplelink to impact the staffing world.
Collaborate across matrix organization by developing strategies, executing sales goals, and building strong relationships with service and delivery teams.
New Business Acquisition
Identify, target, and secure new client accounts within the construction sector.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
Market & Industry Expertise
Leverage construction industry knowledge to identify opportunities and trends.
Stay informed on labor demands and competitive landscape.
Collaboration
Work closely with branch leadership and recruiting teams to ensure successful service delivery.
What You'll Bring Education & Experience
Minimum 3‑5 years of proven sales experience with a strong "hunter" mentality.
Demonstrated success in new account acquisition and business development.
Experience in construction staffing or the construction industry preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Exceptional prospecting, cold‑calling, and closing skills.
Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
Ability to develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Personal Attributes
Highly self‑motivated and results‑driven.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Other
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
Willingness to travel locally as needed.
