Executive Recruiter | Marketing, Digital & Creative | Southern California LHH is working with one of our great Los Angeles based CPG clients to bring on a Director of Amazon/DTC E-commerce on a permanent basis. In this role you must have strong foundational knowledge of amazon e-commerce as well as dtc business, and have a desire to scale business. You must have experience working with consumer products, as well as a well‑rounded leadership and financial management background. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of cpg experience with at least 5+ years of Amazon e-commerce strategy.
The organization seeks a motivated and driven individual to join their team on a permanent basis with the ability to utilize strategic innovations and growth to help scale the amazon e-commerce and DTC business. The team operates in a hybrid setting out of their

office, expected to be in office 3x/week. This role offers a pay range of
$145,000‑$185,000 + bonus , depending on experience and qualifications as well as dental medical benefits and PTO.
Key Responsibilities:
Amazon Channel (Primary Focus):
Lead strategy, operations, and agency management for the Amazon business to achieve ambitious sales and growth targets.
Oversee Amazon marketing and promotional campaigns, optimizing advertising performance and brand visibility.
Ensure an excellent customer experience by monitoring reviews, addressing feedback, and resolving issues.
Manage Amazon P&L, analyze sales data, and optimize inventory and product listings for maximum impact.
Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Channel (Secondary Focus):
Drive growth of the DTC e-commerce site through targeted marketing, user experience enhancements, and KPI management.
Oversee DTC site operations, ux/ui content, and customer service to support retention and sales goals.
Qualifications:
10+ years total of e-commerce experience, with minimum 5+ years managing/scaling an amazon channel
CPG industry experience required
Proven success managing over 200 SKUs and scaling business on both DTC channel and Amazon primarily
Experience with direct reports, 1 minimum required
Strong communication skills, written and verbal, able to present insights and strategy
