Overview Legacy Healthcare is rapidly growing and seeks a Mobile Director of Nursing to travel to various locations in Iowa that need DON coverage. In this role you will serve as the heart of the Clinical Department, ensuring that residents receive the high standard of care legacy patients expect. The position is a PRN role that may include DON, ADON, and/or MDS duties.

Responsibilities
Travel to different locations in Iowa as needed to provide DON coverage
Act as the heart of the Clinical Department, ensuring resident care standards are met
Instill a positive and inclusive facility culture
Set and attain Nursing Department goals
Inspire and lead the clinical team
Apply creative problem‑solving to oversee all aspects of the Clinical Department
Perform PRN duties as a DON, ADON, and/or MDS as required by the company
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Nursing or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
Unencumbered State of Iowa Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
Minimum of 5 years R.N. experience
Prior experience managing a nursing department (preferable)
Prior Director of Nursing or Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred
