Hingham, MA – Environment, Health and Safety Manager – Full-time, Mid-Senior level.
Position Overview The EHS Professional is responsible for leading safety, health, and environmental compliance (OSHA, EPA, DHEC, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.) and associated programs across factory operations. This role works closely with the leadership team, owning the development, implementation, and coordination of EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance and drive sustainable EHS culture improvement. The position directly impacts Business Unit performance and requires in‑depth knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with the factory’s Leadership Team and Corporate Resources on EHS activities and initiatives.
Conduct and lead EHS incident investigations, including incident tracking and record‑keeping requirements (internal and external).
Perform or coordinate industrial hygiene surveys, ergonomic evaluations, air monitoring, noise sampling.
Participate in audit activities (internal and external), identify EHS issues, and drive actions to resolve.
Maintain current knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations (RCRA, CWA, Industrial Pretreatment Program, SWPPP, SPCC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, ANSI, etc.).
Collaborate with regulatory agencies, employees, and outside legal counsel on behalf of the business when required: coordinate business response and/or comments to regulatory changes.
Basic Qualifications
6+ years EHS experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (e.g., overhead crane operation, high voltage equipment testing, ergonomic assessments) with experience supervising at least two employees.
Experience with ISO 45001:2018 OSHMS & 14001:2015 EMS.
Validated understanding of environmental regulations (RCRA, DOT, CWA, etc.).
Experience handling occupational safety & health programs.
Validated experience working on cross‑functional teams and leading EHS projects (project management experience).
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
ASP, CSP, CHMM certifications.
SAP Experience.

Pay range: $132 K–$170 K with a 10 % incentive; actual wage may vary by budget, candidate experience, and location.
