Opportunity The AI Finance Senior Manager is a crucial role responsible for supporting the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the overall data management strategy for finance applications. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in finance applications (planning, reporting, close/consolidation) coupled with strong skills in data management, governance, quality, master data, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to support key finance personas.

One key responsibility is developing and implementing our “FDL consulting blueprint” service offering, creating an industry‑agnostic data model that can be extended to ensure data consistency and interoperability across finance applications.

The role works closely with the Data Lead and the Product Owner for the FDL to ensure that the Blueprint is designed on a foundation of accurate, consistent, and reliable finance application data architecture, enabling informed decision‑making.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of system architecture solutions in collaboration with technical teams.

Tailor technology platforms to business processes, ensuring clients maximize investment through effective use and continuous improvement.

Manage complex processes, solutions, and projects while maintaining a focus on quality and risk management.

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships as a Senior Manager.

Partner with finance, IT, and data science teams to support the effective management and utilization of finance application data.

Harness the power of Machine Learning, Gen AI, and Azure data technologies to drive innovation and business value through the development and implementation of the EY AI Finance solution offering.

Support the data management strategy execution for finance applications.

Support data management strategy execution for finance applications.

Define data requirements, architecture, and models for finance applications, considering ML and Gen AI technologies.

Lead design and implementation of an extensible common information model for the FDL Blueprint.

Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, entity–relationship diagrams, and data lineage maps.

Ensure scalability, performance, and security of the FDL Blueprint solution offering.

Collaborate with data scientists and finance SMR’s to apply ML and Gen AI techniques to finance applications.

Establish and maintain a robust data governance framework for the FDL.

Stay current with the latest advancements in ML, Gen AI, data management, and Azure technologies.

Ability to travel as required for client engagements and project needs.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Computer Science.

Minimum of seven years progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with expertise in:

Strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Variance analysis and management reporting.

Cross‑functional collaboration with business stakeholders.

Strong proficiency with EPM platforms such as:

Anaplan (Certified Model Builder preferred).

Oracle EPM Cloud Suite (PBCS, ePBCS, FCCS).

Oracle Hyperion.

OneStream, Tagetik, or similar platforms.

Solid understanding of financial data architecture and governance, including:

Financial data modeling and dimensional design.

Chart of accounts structuring and hierarchy management.

Data quality standards and reconciliation processes.

Master data management for finance applications.

Knowledge of finance applications: PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow modeling.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment supporting emerging technologies.

Strong business skills, including relationship management, commercial awareness, and communication.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and excellent oral and written communication.

A willingness to travel to meet client needs.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

Degree emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Computer Science, MIS, or IT preferred.

Strong ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and stay ahead of industry trends.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster team collaboration and client trust.

A proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.

Experience in leading diverse teams in dynamic environments.

What We Offer You

A comprehensive compensation and benefits package: base salary range $171,600‑$392,100 (US) with variations; benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), paid time off.
