The Senior Vice President of Technology will provide strategic leadership for the company’s end-to-end technology organization, overseeing Infrastructure & Operations, IT Data Analytics, the Project Management Office (PMO), Hotel Technology, and the Service Delivery team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will be responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions that enable business growth and exceptional service across every property and end user. This role will lead a team of approximately 25 technology professionals, including four direct reports, and will be instrumental in shaping the long-term technology strategy and future operating model for the organization. What You’ll Own

Technology Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the business objectives of the Ashford Group of Companies. Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize systems, elevate data and analytics capabilities, and enhance user experience. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on emerging technologies and innovation opportunities. Enterprise IT Operations

Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, property-level hotel technology, and service delivery. Ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and security of technology systems across the enterprise. Establish and monitor KPIs to measure technology performance and service quality. Team Development & Culture

Build, coach, and scale a high-performing IT organization grounded in collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity. Governance & Risk Management

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Lead enterprise technology risk management programs, including cybersecurity and data privacy. Vendor & Partner Management

Manage strategic vendor relationships and key technology partnerships. Negotiate contracts and budgets to ensure optimal value and alignment with business goals. Qualifications

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 10+ years of senior technology leadership experience, preferably within hospitality, third-party hotel management, or multi-entity organizations; experience with branded hotel technology required. Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise-wide technology strategies. Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and digital platforms. Deep knowledge of hotel technology systems, including PMS, POS, Wi-Fi, access control, and integrations. Proven ability to drive high-quality service delivery using measurable KPIs and performance metrics. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including executive leadership, ownership groups, and cross-functional partners. Hands-on leadership style with a strong executive presence and a track record of building and leading high-performing technology teams.
