Opportunity The AI Finance Senior is a crucial role responsible for supporting the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the overall data management strategy for finance applications. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in finance applications (planning, reporting, close/consolidation) and skills in enterprise data management, data governance, data quality, master data management, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to support key finance personas. One key responsibility is to develop and implement EY AI Finance service offering, creating an industry-agnostic data model that ensures data consistency and interoperability across finance applications.
Your Key Responsibilities
Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions.
Tailor technology platforms to align with business processes and objectives.
Support the effective management and utilization of finance application data, harnessing the power of Machine Learning, Gen AI, and Azure data technologies.
Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, and data lineage maps.
Collaborate with data scientists and finance SMR’s across service lines to identify opportunities for applying Machine Learning and Gen AI techniques to finance applications and personas.
Support the establishment and maintenance of a robust data governance framework for the Finance Data Layer.

Leading design and implementation of a common information model for the Finance Data Layer Blueprint.
Staying current with latest advancements in Machine Learning, Gen AI, Data Management and Azure technologies.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree with approximately three years of related work experience, or a graduate degree with approximately two years of related work experience.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in data management, with at least 1 year focused on finance application data, data modeling, and financial modeling.
Strong understanding of data management principles: governance, quality, master data management.
Experience with Machine Learning techniques, Gen AI technologies, and Azure data services (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, MS SQL, Python).
Knowledge of finance applications including financial modeling (PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Proficiency in data integration, transformation, and modeling tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with experience in finance data management, data modeling, and ML.
What We Offer We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The base salary range for this role in all U.S. locations is $102,500 to $187,900. We provide medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a variety of paid time off options. We work in a flexible hybrid model with 40‑60% in‑person collaboration for most client roles.
