Job Responsibilities
Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate and individual tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and general mergers and acquisitions activities
Assist with new business development, extended service and tax issue recognition for existing clients
Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members
Manage corporate and individual client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance
Develop and sustain strong client relationships
Keep up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Work with the tax team to oversee and review tax returns
Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
Handle routine client tax questions, and work with Staff and Seniors to ensure necessary information for tax return completion and compliance
Stay informed about Firm capabilities beyond the tax compliance area, and promote these activities to clients when appropriate
Complete research and special projects as needed
Help develop Senior and Staff accountants technically and professionally through career care
