Director, Digital Sales TelevisaUnivision is the leading Spanish-language media company in the world. We’re growing our offerings and building on the launch of our successful streaming platform ViX. The digital sales team sits at the intersection of digital growth and technology, and this role plays a key part in driving the company’s premium video and digital revenue streams by fostering growth, new business acquisition, and cross-divisional collaboration.

About You This position is dedicated to growing digital advertising revenue through individual contribution as well as sales development and partnership. It works closely with dispersed sales executives, sales managers, and team leaders to identify and develop strong revenue opportunities, account development, manage strategic initiatives, and onboard new accounts.

Your Day To Day

Prepare and present accurate and comprehensive sales pitches/presentations and establish close business relationships with all levels of clients.

Understand customer needs and develop solutions to those needs.

Manage agency & client relationships through day‑to‑day contact.

Own, manage and develop relationships with clients, agencies, and advertisers.

Look for opportunities to develop monetization solutions for clients, and ensure clients receive superior customer service.

Actively participate in Network Sales Office projects and sales events.

Develop accounts from existing linear business to digital and branded content.

Work closely and collegially with Network AEs, Marketing, Insights, and Business Development teams.

Selling of Digital, Branded Content and Social advertising.

Schedule and execute meetings/presentations with buyers, planners, and clients.

Understand customer needs and provide feedback and market input that will strengthen our opportunities and value proposition.

Develop strong relationships throughout Univision to ensure a unified and coordinated strategy is presented in the market.

You Have

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

7+ years of work experience in multimedia and digital sales or other areas of media sales.

2+ years of management experience.

Expertise in digital sales processes, digital platforms, technical markets, pricing models, measurement platforms, technology trends, customer buying patterns and budgeting across all digital asset and platform types, including but not limited to display, video, audio, social, branded content, email and programmatic transactions.

Strength in prospecting, generating proposals and closing the sale.

Must be self‑motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Strong computer skills with experience in Internet & Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.

Desired Skills & Experience

Strong sales and business development expertise, with a solid understanding of sales disciplines, strategic sales, consultative selling and strong presentation skills.

Passion for digital advertising and content development, and the unique ability to work and sell in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

Keen understanding of branded content sales monetization, creative and execution process.

Ability to implement, sell and execute digital & multi‑platform campaigns.

Exceptional writing, communication, negotiation & presentation skills.

Strong leadership and organization skills; detail‑oriented; trustworthy with confidential and sensitive information.

Capacity to work and analyze numeric data.

Ability to understand brand & marketing objectives.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate within a large organization, communicating with executives, interdepartmental teams and external clients.

Eligibility Requirements

Employment/education will be verified.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Must be willing to work from one of our offices.

Ability to travel nationwide to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars and industry events.

SALARY RANGE 150,000 – 210,000 + Bonus + Benefits. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The national salary range reflects the new hire salary range across levels and U.S. locations applicable to the position.
