Vice President Finance and Administration Our client, a leading global machinery and automation solutions provider with strong European roots, is expanding its North American operations and is looking for a Vice President of Finance & Administration to drive financial strategy, operational excellence, and sustainable growth across their U.S. business.

We are seeking a strategic finance executive with deep expertise in capital equipment for the automation or industrial sectors to lead all financial and administrative functions including Finance, HR, IT, and Supply Chain. This role will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing financial direction and analytical insights to support the company's digital transformation, manufacturing expansion, and long-term profitability goals in a dynamic, internationally integrated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day financial and administrative operations, leading Finance, HR, IT, and Supply Chain functions with a focus on scaling processes and driving operational efficiency.

Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth, profitability, and long-term financial stability across North American operations.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes ensuring compliance with IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and regulatory requirements.

Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis, projections, cost allocation, and revenue/expense modeling to guide executive decision-making.

Direct materials management and supply chain operations; lead supply chain localization initiatives to increase domestic content procurement and ensure Buy America Act compliance as well as monitor supply chain financial metrics.

Assess and mitigate financial risks including material price volatility, currency fluctuations, customs and trade compliance, and supplier dependencies.

Partner with senior leadership to develop short- and long-term business plans grounded in sound financial analysis.

Perform other duties as needed.

Professional Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; CPA or CFA certification strongly preferred.

Progressive leadership experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within machinery, automation, or industrial manufacturing sectors.

In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and best practices in financial management and reporting.

Demonstrated experience in materials management, procurement, or supply chain oversight is an advantage.

Knowledge of domestic content requirements, Buy America Act compliance, and localized sourcing strategies is highly desirable.

Experience working in matrix organizational structures with European headquarters.

Solid understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred, including SAP HANA and SAP MM module), financial applications, and advanced MS Excel skills.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable solutions.

Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
