Job Overview
Director of Engineering for a luxury, Forbes‑rated resort in Northern California.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain all engineering standards for the property.
Manage the technical aspects of the resort’s operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Work closely with contractors, vendors, and hotel leadership to facilitate smooth operations.
Conduct thorough inspections of all building systems—including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety—to identify and address deficiencies or non‑compliance issues.
Manage work orders and preventive maintenance using the Transcendent and Alice systems.
Qualifications
Strong technical background with proven project‑management experience.
Deep understanding of hotel engineering operations.
Prior experience working in a hotel or resort environment.
Familiarity with Transcendent and Alice (or similar work‑order systems).
Pay Range $140,000 – $150,000 per year.
