The opportunity The AI Finance Senior Manager is a crucial role responsible for supporting the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the overall data management strategy for finance applications. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in finance applications (planning, reporting, close/consolidation) along with skills in enterprise data management, data governance, data quality, master data management, Machine Learning, and Generative AI to support key finance personas. A key responsibility involves developing and implementing our “FDL consulting blueprint” service offering, creating an industry‑agnostic data model to ensure data consistency and interoperability across finance applications. The role works closely with the Data Lead and the Product Owner to design the FDL Blueprint on a foundation of accurate, consistent, and reliable finance application data architecture for informed decision‑making.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of system architecture solutions in collaboration with technical teams.

Tailor technology platforms to business processes, ensuring clients maximize their investment through effective use and continuous improvement.

Manage complex processes, solutions, and projects while maintaining focus on quality and risk management.

Support Data Management Strategy execution, including finance application data strategy.

Define data requirements, architecture, and models for finance applications, leveraging Machine Learning and Generative AI.

Lead the design and implementation of an extensible common information model for the FDL Blueprint.

Develop and maintain documentation: data dictionaries, ER diagrams, lineage maps.

Ensure scalability, performance, and security of the FDL Blueprint solution offering.

Collaborate with data scientists and finance SMR’s across service lines to apply Machine Learning and Gen AI techniques to finance applications/personas.

Support robust data governance framework for the FDL.

Stay current with latest ML, Gen AI, data management, and Azure technology advancements to drive efficiency and insights.

Travel as required for client engagements and project needs.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Computer Science.

Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) with expertise in:

Strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting

Financial modeling and scenario analysis

Variance analysis and management reporting

Cross‑functional collaboration with business stakeholders

Strong proficiency with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platforms such as:

Anaplan (Certified Model Builder preferred)

Oracle EPM Cloud Suite (PBCS, ePBCS, FCCS)

Oracle Hyperion

OneStream, Tagetik, or similar platforms

Solid understanding of financial data architecture and governance:

Financial data modeling and dimensional design

Chart of accounts structuring and hierarchy management

Data quality standards and reconciliation processes

Master data management for finance applications

Knowledge of finance applications including financial modeling (PnL, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, supporting emerging technologies.

Strong business skills including relationship management, commercial awareness, and communication.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent oral and written communication.

Willingness to travel to meet client needs.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Degree emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Computer Science, MIS, or IT (preferred).

Strong ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and stay ahead of industry trends.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster team collaboration and client trust.

Proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.

Experience in leading diverse teams in dynamic environments.

What we offer you

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with performance‑based rewards and wide range of benefits. Base salary ranges: $171,600–$392,100 (US), $205,900–$445,700 in NYC, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento). Includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off.

Hybrid model: most external client roles work in person 40–60% of the time with collaboration tools.
