Job Summary We are seeking a Sr. Technical Business Analyst to ensure smooth operations for live sites on our platform. Responsibilities include coordinating and managing release activities, configuring system settings, and troubleshooting issues. The role also provides backup support to the Software Engineer for coding and integration tasks. Success requires strong analytical and technical skills, collaboration with cross‑functional teams (development, QA, operations), and a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Prioritize, report and manage releases through standard System Development Lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA.

Provide production support and coordinate ticket resolution through the standard ticketing system.

Coordinate bug fixes, stakeholder testing and approval of system changes.

Act as backup to the technical lead for system configuration and code deployment.

Collaborate with vendors, IT teams, and laboratory staff to ensure LIMS configuration meets requirements.

Develop test scripts and manage testing cycles with business stakeholders.

Ensure timely delivery of releases and break‑fixes to the production system.

Travel Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to learn new systems and applications quickly.

Understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP).

Proficiency in Python and/or Java for reading, writing, and deploying code.

Strong facilitation skills for requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement.

Experience producing project documentation (business requirements, trace matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, UAT plans).

Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and guide testers during User Acceptance Testing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Spanish proficiency is a plus.

Strong project management and multitasking skills; PMP certification is a plus.

Familiarity with system and instrument integrations.

Experience

5–7 years as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years focused on LIMS or similar enterprise systems.

Experience with enterprise LIMS platforms; Sapio Science experience preferred.

Minimum 6 months of coding experience in Java or Python.

Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, GLP/GMP compliance.

Experience designing and implementing laboratory solutions for life sciences, medical devices or pharmaceutical organizations.

Proven ability to gather business, technical, and functional requirements.

Education

BS (or equivalent) in Engineering, related Laboratory Sciences, Computer Science or Business Administration preferred.

PMP or equivalent certification a plus.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $XX,000 - $XXX,000. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
