Financial Reporting Associate up to $100k/yr+ profit sharing
We seek a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Associate to join our team, ensuring accurate, timely financial statement and regulatory reporting. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, third-party administrators, and auditors in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Prepare annual, quarterly, and interim financial statements and footnotes
Complete quarterly SEC, quarterly CFTC/NFA, and annual CIMA regulatory filings
Create investor-specific monthly reports and respond to investor queries
Perform monthly/quarterly reconciliations to ensure accuracy in accounting records
Compile audit deliverables and review formal auditor communications
Analyze daily trades for classification accuracy in the accounting system
Support operational improvements and participate in special projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on financial services clients
CPA certification or active progress toward obtaining certification
Familiarity with fixed income securities, derivatives, and complex financial instruments
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Big 4 or large national CPA firm experience preferred
Knowledge of Total Return accounting system is an advantage
Knowledge of master-feeder structures is a plus
