Financial Reporting Specialist $100k/yr
Responsibilities
Prepare annual, quarterly, and interim financial statements and footnotes in compliance with U.S. GAAP
Create investor-specific monthly reports and address investor inquiries
Prepare monthly/quarterly accounting reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
Compile audit deliverables and review communications from auditors
Analyze daily trades for proper classification within the accounting system
Prepare/review materials for Board of Directors meetings
Conduct accounting guidance research and contribute to special projects and process improvements
Qualifications
3-5 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or large‑scale National CPA firms strongly preferred) with a focus on financial services clients
CPA certification or active progress toward CPA completion
Experience with regulatory reporting and familiarity with consolidation accounting
Background in hedge funds, private equity, or financial services a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
