Key Responsibilities
Providing high-quality, skilled nursing care: assisting patients before, during, and after invasive or interventional procedures in an ambulatory setting, tailored to individual patient needs and health status.
Utilizing the nursing process: employing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to optimize patient outcomes, including skilled assessment and triage, education, and coordination of care resources.
Collaboration and Advocacy: working collaboratively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers, advocating for patients, especially when patients cannot advocate for themselves.
Clinical Expertise: demonstrating technical expertise in interventional/procedural nursing, applying clinical judgment, critical thinking, and evidence‑based practice.
Continuous Improvement: actively participating in clinical inquiry, seeking ways to improve care delivery, and utilizing tools such as the Virginia Mason Production System (VMPS).
Compassionate Care: fostering a compassionate and supportive environment, incorporating principles of caring such as Swanson's Caring Theory.
Cultural Sensitivity: demonstrating sensitivity to diverse patient needs and backgrounds.
Education and Facilitation: facilitating learning for patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
Systems Navigation: demonstrating leadership in navigating healthcare systems to ensure smooth transitions of care.

Job Requirements
Current WA State RN license.
1+ years of recent RN experience with acute care patients.
CPR certification required every two years or as specified; other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
Graduation from an accredited nursing school approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
Quarterly AHA Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification required post‑hire through internal resources of CommonSpirit Health.
Preferred Experience
Completion of a residency program with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the area of care (e.g., OR, PACU).
Certifications preference for OR or PACU.
Strong patient assessment skills, collaborative teamwork, and current working knowledge of electronic medical records.
ACLS certification.
