General Manager (StudioRes) Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking an experienced, dynamic, hands‑on leader for the General Manager position at StudioRes in Columbia, SC.

Primary Duties

Leadership & Team Building: Recruit, train, and motivate a team of 6‑12 staff members; provide hands‑on support.

Exceptional Guest Services: Keep the hotel “Guest Ready” by maintaining high cleanliness standards and addressing guest concerns promptly.

Operational Excellence: Follow brand guidelines, meet operational deadlines, manage budgets and labor, control occupancy and P&L.

Sales & Marketing: Promote the property locally, build relationships with competitors and key clients, lead in‑house sales and marketing initiatives.

Teamwork: Assist with housekeeping tasks as needed and cover employee shifts to maintain operational continuity.

Emergency Procedures: Know and follow property emergency procedures and ensure security for the property and guests.

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Valid driver’s license.

1+ years as a Hotel General Manager.

Proficient computer skills.

Strong organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Proactive and aggressive at solving problems.

Strong leadership and team‑development skills.

Physical Requirements

Tasks involve kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending and twisting for long periods.

Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 20 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
