The Nurse Educator / Nursing Professional Development Practitioner supports the professional and clinical development of bedside nurses and promotes empowerment through evidence‑based practice.
Responsibilities Supports the professional and clinical development of bedside nurses, fosters empowerment through knowledge, and promotes excellence in evidence‑based nursing care.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field
California Registered Nurse license upon hire
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
Nursing Professional Development Board Certification or Nursing Education certification within 2 years of hire
3 years of Acute Care experience
1 year of staff development activities
Experience with simulation in healthcare
Experience with interactive, case‑based online teaching/learning methods
Experience with competency validation based on knowledge and skills
Experience with outcomes measurement to evaluate educational effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Nursing or related professional development field
Additional specialty certification upon hire
3 years of experience in specialty area
Strong perioperative experience
Location and Compensation Santa Rosa, CA – 1165 Montgomery Dr. Base pay range: $68.02 – $105.60 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives or bonus opportunities.
