We invite you to join team TravisMathew.The General Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing operations at one high volume retail location or multiple locations. This individual is responsible for managing sales plans and results, managing budgets and P&L statements, executing, and overseeing brand strategies, and hiring, training and developing a Retail Team for their location.The General Manager is responsible for driving revenue, hiring, training and developing top talent, while also directing and executing brand strategies and operations that attribute to the store’s overall success.**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** Manage store P&L by driving top line revenue and strategically managing expense budgets to meet overall profitability goals* Manage staff to exceed sales goals, while meeting payroll goals* Prioritize, plan, and adjust schedules and daily agendas to meet business goals; hold team accountable to achieving goals* Recruit, train and retain an exceptional team of support managers and client experience focused associates* Lead through management team to ensure product and visual merchandising directives and techniques are executed to maximize space and drive sales* Lead through department managers to ensure visual merchandising strategies within the store are executed* Manage and achieve or exceed all inventory and shrink goals; plan and execute bi-annual or annual Physical Inventory* Manage monthly associate sales and KPI reporting and creation actionable strategies to drive results* Partner with Area Manager/ District Manager(s) and Marketing Team on the implementation and execution of brand building / sales driving initiates* Train and motivate all associates through on-going programs in sales, customer service, and product knowledge* Complete and deliver performance reviews and development plans* Provide direction, feedback and coaching to foster collaboration and productivity* Manage inventory control procedures including product receipt, transfers and returns* Manage store-level HR functions, including associate scheduling and timecard review / approval* Manage and maintain store cleanliness and organization, including front of house and stock space**TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)*** Proficient in Microsoft Applications* Proficient in point-of-sale (POS) systems* Experience with back office operations management, visual merchandising and recruitment / training* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to manage and mentor a team* Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders* Ability to make decisions independently, or escalate when applicable* Ability to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings and holidays**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*** Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred* Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail store management* Minimum 8 years’ experience in a client services related capacity**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT (if applicable)*** Work is performed in a retail environment / store* Walk, sit, stand, bend, reach and move continually during working hours60,500.00 - 75,600.00 - 90,700.00 USD AnnualIf your experience is close to what we're looking for, please consider applying!
