Job Summary And Qualifications What you will do in this role:
Respond to phone calls with urgency and deliver excellent customer service.
Gather initial data to open new cases and prepare clinical packets for clinicians.
Maintain awareness of medical staff, services and specialized programs.
Locate resources and coordinate information to support patient disposition or admissions.
Track bed availability for non‑HCA placements and hospital admissions.
Accept, track and facilitate hospital transfers and transports via phone and applications.
Provide status updates on patient cases and bed placement requests.
Schedule and prioritize discharge transports, ensuring rapid response to requests.
What qualifications you’ll need:
Associate degree or higher preferred.
Experience in a healthcare setting (acute hospital, outpatient clinic, or practice). Preference for Behavioral Health experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Proficient understanding of medical terminology.
Scheduling Requirements
12‑hour shifts required.
Flexibility in scheduling required.
Rotating weekends required.
Holiday shifts required.
Location:
Must live within 60 miles of an HCA Logistics Center (Madison, TN; Richmond, VA; Jacksonville, FL; Tamarac, FL; Plano, TX; Denver, CO).
