Perkins Coie is seeking candidates with engineering and scientific expertise and a demonstratable interest in patent prosecution work (e.g., already passed patent bar, willing to take and pass patent bar within 6 months of joining the firm, and/or otherwise having worked in IP legal settings in another firm or company). Candidates must have a graduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, material sciences, and/or similar degrees, as well as strong academic credentials and excellent references. Prior industry experience in one or more of electronics, semiconductors, wireless communications, artificial intelligence and machine learning, software, material sciences or medical devices is preferred.
