Project Manager, Information Technology Job Summary: We understand employees have competing priorities, and although this position is a non-remote, on-site role, the Broadmoor is committed to an environment which embraces teamwork, flexibility, and work-life balance. The Broadmoor Hotel, the world's longest running 5-Star/5-Diamond resort, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Technology Project Manager to support all other IT domains through project, financial and contract management, resource planning and allocation, risk metrics analysis and reporting, communication planning, audit compliance, and administrative support. This role is highly visible in coordinating the success of our IT leadership team and compliance initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. This position should be able to work independently on tasks and within a team for larger projects and implementations. The IT Project Manager will participate in our Risk Committee and Change Advisory Board meetings and has direct influence in technology changes that affect the company. This position has a key role in the future direction of company technology and should keep up with current and emerging trends. Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants during project cycle. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. Technology contract management including analysis of contract terms, compliance driven language, and addendum inclusions. Maintain a technology vendor inventory ensuring all onboarding and risk assessment requirements are achieved and maintained. Maintain quarterly, bi-annually, and annual compliance and reporting requirements. Ensure timely reporting of incidents in our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solution. Inventory and track all IT partner relations. Creating purchase requisitions, reviewing, processing, and tracking invoice expenditures, and reconciling monthly financials. Create and administer memos, letters, reports, and presentations for delivery to internal and/or external customers. Create and administer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policy documents for delivery to internal and/or external customers. Assist with time-sensitive administrative support to IT, including managing and maintaining complex calendar schedules for IT senior leadership. Responsible for management and efficient execution of key meetings, including scheduling, preparing, and distributing agendas, coordinating meeting room logistics and arranging for supplies or materials, ensuring documentation and distribution of meeting minutes and tracking of action items to ensure completion of tasks. Manage par levels and procurement of office equipment, supplies and materials. Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned. Proficient in records management principles and practices, basic bookkeeping and budgeting principles, purchasing practices and procedures, and proficiency with managing complex calendars and scheduling high-volume meetings is highly desired for this role.
