What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  • Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
  • Design and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to business leaders
  • Implement row-level security, DAX measures, and performance tuning for large datasets
  • Standardize data definitions, formats, and governance across various systems and platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions

What is Required (Qualifications):

  • Proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, performance tuning, and data modeling
  • Advanced experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization best practices
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture and integration strategiesProven experience in automating data workflows and building scalable analytics solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experience with Azure Data Services
  • Exposure to cloud-based data warehousing and big data technologies
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and enterprise project delivery
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (e.g., Git)
  • Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry
