About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our Human Resources team. This role will be responsible for managing I-9 processing using E-Verify, ensuring HR compliance with federal and state regulations, and serving as a key point of contact for employee questions and concerns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive employee experience. You will report into the SVP, Administration.

Responsibilities

I-9 Processing & E-Verify

Complete and maintain Form I-9 documentation for all new hires in compliance with federal regulations

Process employment eligibility verifications through the E-Verify system

Monitor re-verification timelines and ensure timely follow-up for expiring work authorizations

HR Compliance

Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Assist in audits and maintain up-to-date employee records and documentation

Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures

Employee Support

Serve as a first point of contact for general HR inquiries from employees

Address questions related to policies, benefits, leaves of absence, and workplace concerns

Escalate complex issues to appropriate HR leadership as needed

Operations

Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes

Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports as needed

Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned

Experience Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

5+ years of experience in an HR support or generalist role

Experience with I-9 processing and E-Verify required

Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

Preferred Skills

SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus

Bilingual abilities are a plus

Start-Up experience is a plus

Estimated Starting Salary Range The estimated starting salary range for this role is $118,000 - $140,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis. The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
