Director Of Finance

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Finance. The position is located in East Providence RI. The Director of Finance will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the organization. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and analyzing financial statements to support decision-making. This role also involves supervising accounting operations, developing financial strategies, and providing leadership to the finance team to optimize financial performance and sustainability.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting

Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting principles, and compliance regulations

Experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making

Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff

Excellent communication skills and the ability to present financial data to stakeholders

Proficient in financial software and tools relevant to the role

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred

CPA or relevant financial certification is a plus

Experience in a healthcare, nonprofit, or academic setting is highly desirable

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
