Were seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations for a mission-driven nonprofit. This role is responsible for budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, compliance, audit coordination, and long-term financial planning, ensuring strong financial controls and transparent reporting.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff and working closely with the Board Treasurer and Finance Committee, the Finance Manager will play a key role in strategic financial decision-making and support the organizations growth and mission.
Key Responsibilities: Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions including A/P, A/R, payroll, and reconciliations. Manage financial reporting and compliance, including IRS Form 990. Coordinate audits and maintain internal financial controls. Provide strategic financial guidance to leadership and the Board. Support program and event financial management, ensuring proper allocation of resources.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred. 57+ years of progressive nonprofit finance experience. Strong expertise in GAAP, budgeting, financial analysis, and audit preparation. Proficiency with QuickBooks and nonprofit financial systems. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
