M&A Accounting Manager – SkyWater Search Partners

We are a dynamic construction organization with a top‑tier finance and accounting team. We are looking for a new Accounting Manager to drive operational accounting, M&A integrations, FP&A, cross‑functional initiatives, and special projects focused on value creation and process improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead corporate accounting operations for newly acquired and organically grown entities.
Integrate financial statements, accounting policies, and transaction accounting for M&A targets.
Partner with FP&A and operational teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Own post‑close reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and special project work to improve financial processes.
Develop and maintain accounting controls and reporting processes aligned with industry best practices.
Qualifications
5+ years of accounting experience with a Big 4 foundation.
Hands‑on experience with M&A integration and complex accounting issues.
CPA preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
High‑EQ leadership style and proven ability to develop and mentor talent.
