We are seeking a highly trained
Armed Residential Security Agent
to provide armed security services for residential properties in
San Jose, CA . The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding residents, guests, and property through vigilant monitoring, patrolling, and immediate response to potential threats. You will adapt to the unique security needs of a high-profile residential environment. Shift Information:
Shifts will vary based on client needs and assignments. Possible shifts include: Day Shifts : 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, based on client schedules. Evening & Night Shifts : Security coverage during later hours. Overnight Shifts : 24-hour protection for long-term security assignments. On-Call/Reserve : Available for urgent or last-minute security deployments. Weekend and Holiday Work : Coverage for weekends, holidays, and special events. Key Responsibilities:
Providing a visible and professional armed security presence at high-end residential properties. Conducting security patrols to monitor for threats, unauthorized access, or hazards. Controlling access to the property, ensuring adherence to security protocols. Responding promptly and decisively to security incidents or emergencies. Conducting threat assessments and implementing tailored security measures. Providing secure transportation for clients and guests, if required. Communicating effectively with the security team, residents, and on-site personnel to maintain seamless security operations. Documenting and reporting all security activities, incidents, and observations in detail. Qualifications:
5+ years of military experience (honorable discharge), law enforcement, or equivalent armed security experience. Valid
BSIS Guard Card
and
BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit . Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Strong physical fitness and situational awareness, with the ability to stand and patrol for extended periods. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive environments. Skills:
Proficiency in defensive tactics and emergency response procedures. Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay vigilant for extended periods. Familiarity with security technologies, physical security measures, and risk management practices. High level of discretion and professionalism in private settings. Knowledge of secure transportation and logistics is a plus. Benefits:
