As an IT Support Engineer at Mid-City Electric, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our team has the technology support they need to succeed. With outstanding benefits, a supportive culture, and real growth opportunities, this is more than a job—it’s a career with purpose.
What You Will Be Doing:
Troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues.
Providing hands-on support for desktop and laptop setups, including operating system configurations.
Assisting with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including equipment procurement and access management.
Managing and optimizing the ticketing system and service desk workflows.
Overseeing endpoint security, including patching, encryption, and mobile device management.
Conducting cybersecurity training and phishing simulations to enhance security awareness.
Monitoring and maintaining software licensing, renewals, and compliance.
Maintaining an accurate inventory of all hardware, software, and IT assets.
Collaborating on infrastructure-related tasks and strategic IT projects.
Key Experience to Hit the Ground Running:
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 environments.
Experience managing and troubleshooting devices using RMM platforms.
Solid understanding of network fundamentals, Active Directory, and Entra.
Familiarity with mobile device management tools like JAMF or Intune.
Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and ITIL-based service practices.
What Would Really Make You Shine:
Certifications such as CompTIA or Microsoft.
Experience in an escalated help desk support role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on end-user experience.
