Knowledge is Power Program (KIPP) North Carolina is a network of eight tuition-free, college-preparatory public charter schools educating approximately 3,000 students in grades K-12 across Durham, Halifax, Northampton, and Mecklenburg counties. 10+ years of progressively increasing operational management experience in a growing organization, including line management in areas such as operations, compliance, transportation, technology, data analytics, school nutrition, student enrollment, or facilities. Previous experience in K-12 schools/education is required; robust knowledge of K-12 public education, reform initiatives, and the charter school movement is essential. Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree in a related field is preferred. Significant team management experience (5-10 years), including coaching top performers and developing managers. Strong commitment to continuous improvement, results orientation, and ensuring student and teacher success, always making decisions in their best interest. Ability to lead teams to achieve ambitious goals with a focus on excellence. Excellent collaboration skills to build partnerships with diverse stakeholders and influence outcomes supporting students. Strong prioritization skills, adaptability, and flexibility in dynamic environments. Experience developing and managing business systems and processes for a growing region. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collegial working environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of working independently, managing projects, and meeting multiple deadlines. Attributes

Compensation:
The role offers an annual salary between $145,000 and $160,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits plan including health care, retirement, and a laptop. Location:
The position is hybrid, requiring both in-person and remote work, with travel across North Carolina. Residency in North Carolina is required; Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill is preferred due to its central location. The role involves physical demands such as frequent travel (50-75%), occasional weekend and evening work, and potential travel for conferences and professional development.
