Director of Manufacturing . This is a
full-time, direct hire
role with a

The
Director of Manufacturing
will be responsible for maintaining production schedules according to management and client requirements. Key activities include allocating manpower, managing budgets, and ensuring cohesive operations as workloads fluctuate, especially with new project integrations. Strong multi-program/project management skills are essential. We seek a multifaceted individual with excellent communication, team-building, planning, supervisory, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
The ideal candidate must have: Proven success in high-technology product manufacturing fields. Experience as a productive, innovative technical manager in a small industrial equipment manufacturing environment. Successful implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Ability to listen to customer needs and develop appropriate solutions. Extensive knowledge of emerging technologies and the ability to integrate them into manufacturing processes. The capability to quickly understand new technological concepts and implement operational mechanisms efficiently.
Responsibilities include: Leading manufacturing strategy, planning, and operations, including overseeing Production Managers, Quality, Engineering, EH&S, Logistics/Distribution, and Supply Chain. Developing and implementing safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control programs. Adopting process designs and technologies to maximize efficiency. Forecasting resources for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce needs. Promoting organizational culture aligned with company goals. Designing and maintaining an organizational structure to support current and future strategies. Leading change management initiatives and fostering team development and diversity. Establishing cross-training and skills development programs for production and support functions.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (ABET accredited). 8+ years of manufacturing and warehouse supervisory/management experience. Strong computer skills, including MRP, ERP, inventory management, MS Office, PowerPoint. U.S. Citizenship.
