Job Summary This position performs Data Warehouse Architecture at an intermediate level. Responsibilities include design and development of data models and ETL specifications, data analysis, system design, standards and policy administration, and vendor coordination. Essential Responsibilities Create data models for moderate to advanced subjects. Create moderate to advanced ETL specifications to meet business data needs. Develop and maintain documentation, including current design and operation. Analyze data sources; research and recommend solutions including risks and mitigation. Participate in long-term data warehouse and dashboard architecture planning. Participate in creating and managing data warehouse and analytics architectures. Propose requirements, standards, and best practices for data modeling, ETL, and data warehouse development. Review existing systems for compliance with standards and business needs. Conduct product and vendor research, present recommendations, and establish vendor relationships. Organizational Responsibilities Align work with the organization's mission, vision, and values. Required Experience and Education Minimum 3 years' experience in data warehouse architecture. Experience with dimensional modeling, data quality, SQL, Agile/Scrum, source-target mapping, and data analysis. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare or managed care. Metadata management, performance tuning, ETL/ELT design, Snowflake, Azure, cloud warehousing, health insurance, systems analysis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge: Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake or Redshift, ETL tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory), troubleshooting, testing. Skills and Abilities: Effective communication, policy articulation, collaboration, initiative, stress management, physical and auditory capabilities as described.
