Job Summary This position performs Data Warehouse Architecture at an intermediate level. Responsibilities include design and development of data models and ETL specifications, data analysis, system design and architecture, standards and policy administration, and vendor coordination. Essential Responsibilities Create data models for moderate to advanced subjects. Create ETL specifications to meet business data needs. Develop and maintain documentation of design and operations. Analyze data sources; research and recommend solutions including risk mitigation. Participate in long-term data warehouse and dashboard architecture planning. Participate in creating and managing data warehouse and analytics architectures. Propose requirements, standards, and best practices for data modeling, ETL, and development. Review existing systems for compliance with standards and operational efficiency. Conduct product and vendor research; present recommendations. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, including installation and repair services. Organizational Responsibilities Align work with the organization's mission, vision, and values. Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience in data warehouse architecture, including dimensional modeling, data quality, SQL proficiency, Agile/Scrum, source-target mapping, and data analysis. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience gathering requirements. Experience with Snowflake, Azure, healthcare or managed care, metadata management, performance tuning, ETL/ELT design, cloud warehousing, and systems analysis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, cloud data warehousing tools (Snowflake, Redshift), ETL tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory), troubleshooting, and testing. Skills include effective communication, policy articulation, collaboration, learning, stress management, and physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and communicate clearly.
