Role Description As an embedded hardware engineer, you’ll have the chance to shape the Army cyber mission by developing new technology for the warfighter. You will design, develop, and evolve systems with advanced technology solutions, broadening your skills in cyber operations, modeling, simulation for EW and cyber, and integrating software development with FPGA experience to create innovative engineering solutions in an R&D environment.

Qualifications You Have:

5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, RF protocol implementation, and embedded software design

Experience developing for software-defined radios (SDRs)

Experience with FPGA, VHDL, and low-level programming

Proficiency in C, C++, or MATLAB

Experience with embedded hardware systems

Knowledge of Linux distributions like RedHat and Rocky Linux

Secret clearance

HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

Experience with DSP algorithms

Experience with Xilinx SoC and RFSoC devices

Knowledge of digital RF sampling, modulation, error correction, or compression

TS/SCI clearance

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or CS

Additional Information Applicants will undergo a security investigation; Secret clearance required. Compensation ranges from $77,600 to $176,000 annually, based on experience and other factors. The work model is flexible, with options for onsite, hybrid, or remote work, depending on the role.
