Senior Business Development Director – Full Service CRO – Mid‑West

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Director to join our global full‑service clinical Contract Research Organization. This remote, work‑from‑home role focuses on the Mid‑West region (PA to California) and involves managing existing accounts while securing new business with biotechnology companies across a range of therapeutic areas. Base Pay Range:

$150,000.00/yr – $180,000.00/yr Your role will include the following responsibilities: Achieve agreed sales and business development targets, and devise strategies for identified target markets. Prospect to establish a pipeline of sales opportunities and RFPs from potential clients, evaluating competitive advantage, timing, budget, and decision makers. Utilize Salesforce to track client activities, meetings, opportunities and updates. Lead and manage the sales process for leads generated internally or externally. Lead proposal development, ensuring strategy, budget and language match client expectations. Identify and redefine profitable market niches based on evidence. Provide input to Marketing to develop supporting strategies, and to business‑development leadership for target setting. Work with the team to implement strategies and secure resources for pre‑sales activities. Engage agents and consultants in other geographic locations to support business‑development activities. Collaborate with internal research staff to maximize opportunities linked to their travel schedules. Identify and attend relevant conferences and trade shows to create business opportunities.
